Seville Orientation: Layout and Directions

Surrounded by particularly beautiful scenery, the main areas of Seville include the city's eastern and western regions, the Santa Cruz area and the ancient port.

Santa Cruz is without doubt one of the most important districts in Seville and contains many striking landmarks, such as the Seville Cathedral and La Giralda Tower, together with endless shopping opportunities along the Calle de las Sierpres.

The western side of Seville also has much to offer, standing alongside the scenic Guadalquivir River. Highlights in this area include the eye-catching Torre del Oro tower, the simply vast Plaza de Toros de la Maestranzas, and the city's impressive opera house.
